The Hoopa Valley Indian Tribe contracted Pacific Affiliates to design and manage the construction of an 84,000 square foot modular home manufacturing facility. Situated on a ten acre industrial site in Hoopa, California, the 30,000 manufacturing plant is comprised of assembly line manufacturing equipment, assembly areas, storage mezzanines and 4000 sq. ft. of office space. Together with the assistance systems engineer the project was permitted and constructed in just eight months, an unprecedented feat for the size and scope of the project in the Hoopa Valley. Now fully operational, the plant employs more than thirty full time employees and numerous seasonal laborers.
