Pacific Affiliates was hired by Steelhead Constructors to provide constrcution staking and QA/QC grade control on during the removal of hazardous materials from the former burn dump location at the Cummins Road Landfill. As part of closure requirements implemented by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Steelhead Constrcutors was awarded the contract to remove nearly 80,000 cy of hazardous anc contaminated materials, regrade slopes and rehabilitate streambeds, and re-build a segment of Cummins Road. Pacific Affiliates provided pre and post constuction surveys, construction boundary staking, construciton grade staking for Cummins Road replacement, and construction support through GPS QA/QC of the contractor's grade control systems and equipment. In addition to the field work, Pacific Affiliates completed all cut/fill quantity calculations for use in pay estimates.
